BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a new suspect in the latest edition of “Fishing for Fugitives” as Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey comes to you from Manatee Cove Park in Merritt Island.

In this episode, Sheriff Ivey featured his “Catch of the Day” as 41-year-old Troy D. Veve.

Veve is wanted for two warrants that include the following:

Warrant 1 – Violation of Community Control reference Fleeing or Attempting to Elude, Driving while License Suspended or Revoked while being a Habitual Traffic Offender

Warrant 2 – Violation of Community Control reference possession of meth.

Sheriff Ivey says that Veve is known to be in the “waters of the Cocoa area” and was last “hooked” November 23, 2019.

Veve has a $5,000 bond.

“If you’re the ‘Catch of the Day,’ you know what to do, turn yourself in and do the right thing – don’t make our Fugitive Unit come to get you. Because if you don’t turn yourself in, I promise you, they aren’t far from your house,” said Sheriff Ivey.

“Let’s make the Space Coast a safer place to live by assisting the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office in the apprehension of wanted fugitives, or in this case, the chance to “Hook ’em and Book ’em.”
