Space Coast High School Announce Hiring of Varsity Football Head Coach Matt Martin

Space Coast High School announce the hiring of Varsity Football Head Coach Matt Martin. Martin brings in 14 years of experience in high school football.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Space Coast High School announced the hiring of Varsity Football Head Coach Matt Martin on Wednesday. 

Martin brings in 14 years of experience in high school football.

He has 10 playoff appearances in 14 seasons as an assistant/coordinator. As an assistant, Martin went undefeated and won the district championships at Merritt Island High School.

Viper’s Newest head coach has experience coaching at several high schools including Eau Gallie High School, Cairo High School, and Jasper County High School as the athletic director.

Martin’s versatility is shown across his resume, coaching both sides of the ball, and coaching multiple positions.

Coach Matt Martin prides himself on having the opportunity to coach many student/athletes that have gone on to play at the college level.

Coach Martin takes over for Matt Diesel who is now coaching defense at Cocoa High School.
