BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Local football standout Raheim Sanders of the Rockledge Raiders stopped by the Mike Erdman Cadillac studio in Merritt Island on Monday to speak with Space Coast Daily’s Juan Rodriguez about the upcoming prep football season.

Raheim Sanders, currently ranked as a 4-star ATH (athlete) by 24/7 sports, is going into his senior season with high expectations. After finishing last season 8-2, the Raiders hope to improve this season with a deeper run in the playoffs and, ultimately, a championship.

One of those players who will play a big factor in Rockledge’s success for the upcoming season will be Sanders.

Sanders is currently listed at 6-foot-2 213 pounds and plays both defense and offense.

Sanders has received numerous offers from Division I programs and has narrowed his list down to five teams including:

Florida State
Missouri
Oklahoma
South Carolina
Arkansas

He is a multi-sport athlete who also excels in basketball and track.

Sanders told Space Coast Daily he will be making his decision on which school he will be committing to on June 8 via social media.

The versatility Sanders brings to the table plays a big factor in his decision-making process, Sanders mentions in the interview that “playing right away” is what is separating these schools from the others.
