Palm Bay Parks & Recreation Department to Host Two New Youth Programs in July

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The Palm Bay Parks & Recreation Department will host two new youth programs in July. The Palm Bay Kidz Club is for children ages 6 through 10 years old and the Turkey Creek Sanctuary Nature Club for children ages 10 to 15 years old.

Palm Bay Kidz Club will run for four weeks from Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 31.

The camp will be held weekly Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Activities will vary daily and include a variety of outdoor sports and games, arts and crafts, and STEM learning projects. The Palm Bay Kidz Club is open to Palm Bay children ages 6 to 10 years old. The cost is $60 per week.

The Palm Bay Kidz Club will meet at three different locations:

Fred Poppe Regional Park – 1951 Malabar Road NW
Goode Park – 1300 Bianca Drive NE
Liberty Park – 895 Carlyle Ave SE.

The Turkey Creek Sanctuary Nature Club is for kids ages 10 to 15 years old and will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m at the Turkey Creek Sanctuary, located at 1518 Port Malabar Boulevard NE.

The Club runs from Tuesday, July 7 through Wednesday, July 29 for a total of eight sessions.

The cost is $60 for the entire program (4 weeks total).

Both programs will accept limited enrollees and practice social distancing.

The use of face masks is encouraged for participants and will be mandatory for staff. Online registration is now available at www.PlayPalmBay.org for both programs.
