South Brevard Police Departments to Host ‘Community Dialogue’ Event June 11

The Melbourne, Palm Bay and West Melbourne Police Departments will host a “Community Dialogue” on Thursday, June 11 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Joseph N. Davis Community Center, located at 2547 Grant Street.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Melbourne, Palm Bay and West Melbourne Police Departments will host a “Community Dialogue” on Thursday, June 11 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Joseph N. Davis Community Center, located at 2547 Grant Street.

Police officials said that the event will include an open dialogue on how we can build safer communities together.

“Come march for peace with the Melbourne Police Department before the community dialogue at 6 p.m.,” said MPD officials.

“This will be the first meeting since COVID-19 and we are looking forward to seeing and hearing from our community members. Come out and discuss the issues that face our community and make a difference together.”

The Melbourne Police Department recommends you wear a cloth face-covering/mask and attendees will be practicing social distancing guidelines recommended by the CDC.
