SpaceX Falcon 9 Ready to Launch Early Saturday Morning at Cape Canaveral, Weather Conditions 70% Favorable

BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – SpaceX is scheduled to launch a Falcon 9 rocket carrying Starlink 8 on Saturday at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.

Launch is targeted for 5:21 a.m. ET

The mission will carry the ninth batch of an estimated 60 satellites for SpaceX’s Starlink broadband network.

The weather forecast for Saturday’s launch shows conditions for launch are 70-percent favorable, according to the 45th Weather Squadron.

Following first-stage separation, the booster engine will attempt to land on drone ship ‘Of Course, I Still Love You’ stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
