SpaceX has delayed the Tuesday launch of a Falcon 9 rocket carrying Anasis 2 from Cape Canaveral after citing the need to have “a closer look at the second stage, swap hardware if needed.” (SpaceX Image)

BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – SpaceX has delayed the Tuesday launch of a Falcon 9 rocket carrying Anasis 2 from Cape Canaveral after citing the need to have “a closer look at the second stage, swap hardware if needed.”

A new launch date will be announced in the coming days.

Anasis 2 is a communications satellite for.the South Korean military.

Following first stage separation, SpaceX will attempt to recover the booster engine on drone ship ‘Of Course, I Still Love You’ stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
