6-Year-Old Girl Dies after being shot on Tuesday
BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay Police announced on Wednesday that a 6-year-old girl that was shot on Tuesday has died from her injuries.
The shooting was described by police as a tragic, accidental shooting between siblings.
“It is with great sadness that we report the 6 year old child who was shot last night at about 5:00 pm has died,” said Lt. Mike Smith with the Palm Bay Police Department.
Police were called to the home and attempted life saving measures after they found the girl to be accidentally shot by her sibling.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the child’s family and our community,” Lt. Smith added.
