ABOVE VIDEO: The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a new suspect in a new edition of “Fishing for Fugitives” as Sheriff Wayne Ivey comes to you from Kings Park in Merritt Island.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a new suspect in a new edition of “Fishing for Fugitives” as Sheriff Wayne Ivey comes to you from Kings Park in Merritt Island.

In this episode, Sheriff Ivey featured his “Catch of the Day” as 47-year-old Marty Wayne Hannum.

He has two warrants out for him.

Warrant #1: Violation of Drug Offender Probation Reference Possession of Methamphetamines.

Warrant #2: Violation of Drug Offender Probation Reference Possession of Methamphetamines and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Sheriff Ivey says that Hannum is known to be in the “waters of the Cocoa area” and was last “hooked” December 23, 2019.

Hannum has no bond.

Anyone who has a tip about Marty Wayne Hannum’s whereabouts is asked to call Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS (8477).

“If you’re the ‘Catch of the Day,’ you know what to do, turn yourself in and do the right thing – don’t make our Fugitive Unit come to get you. Because if you don’t turn yourself in, I promise you, they aren’t far from your house,” said Sheriff Ivey.

“Let’s make the Space Coast a safer place to live by assisting the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office in the apprehension of wanted fugitives, or in this case, the chance to “Hook ’em and Book ’em.”
