‘Launch and a Movie’ Drive-In Style at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex Moved to August 28

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is offering guests a 21st century spin on the drive-in movie with an out-of-this-world launch viewing experience.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is offering guests a 21st century spin on the drive-in movie with an out-of-this-world launch viewing experience.

Launch and a Movie will offer guests launch viewing of SpaceX’s SAOCOM 1B followed by a showing of dazzling short film “Hubble,” all under the stars and from the safety and comfort of their own vehicle.

When: Friday, August 28, 5:30 p.m.

What: Parking opens at 5:30 p.m. with live NASA TV playing until the live webcast starts prior to SpaceX’s targeted liftoff time of 7:20 p.m. Following the rocket launch and landing of the Falcon 9 booster, guests will enjoy the short film “Hubble” narrated by Leonardo DiCaprio. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

How: Launch and a Movie entry is $50 per vehicle, (RVs are welcome) and can be booked via the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex website or by calling 855-737-5235.

Note: While the launch date is currently scheduled for August 28, in the event of a delay or scrub, tickets will be valid for the next launch attempt.
