BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Schools across Florida are working to figure out how to teach students in-person amid this coronavirus pandemic.

Students at Suntree Elementary in Brevard County will be learning on campus in new outdoor classrooms thanks to a group of parents who raised thousands of dollars to make it happen.

Teachers said they have been dreaming about this for a decade.

“I can bring all my students outside for a lesson. And that’s what kindergarten all the way through sixth grade and even up need to do. They need to change up the environment. So the children can read, regenerate and focus on the lesson at hand,” one teacher said.
