BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – I had the pleasure of speaking recently at the “Project Graduation Fundraiser” for upcoming Seniors at Merritt Island High School.

The event that was held at Marker 24 Marina was designed to help raise funds for the graduation night event.

Project Graduation is a nationwide mission to create a special and fun evening where high school seniors can safely celebrate their graduation from high school.

Each school hosts a Project Graduation in an effort to provide a safe environment for graduating seniors to celebrate their amazing accomplishments, enjoy great food, great music, and have a chance to collectively reminisce where their high schools classmates.

Thank you to all the parents of the Project Graduation Organization for allowing me to speak at the event and also for all you do to help keep our graduating seniors safe.

Also a special thank you to the owners of Marker 24 Marina who hosted the event and who do so much to partner with our agency to keep Brevard County a safe place to call home.

– Sheriff Wayne Ivey
