“While today may be reserved for thanking us, the men and women of our agency would like to actually take this opportunity to thank you, our citizens for your unwavering love and support,” said Ivey.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Thank a Police Officer Day,” also called “National Tell a Police Officer ‘Thank You’ Day,” began in 2012.

Our Law Enforcement Officers put everything on the line each and every day to protect their communities and citizens, which is why the third Saturday of every September is now recognized nationally.

While today may be reserved for thanking us, the men and women of our agency would like to actually take this opportunity to thank you, our citizens for your unwavering love and support.

For us, having your trust and support is the greatest gift we could ever ask for and we truly can’t thank you enough for the love that is expressed to our Deputies and members each and everyday.

So on behalf of the 1,600 members of your Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, thank you for everything you do to support your local law enforcement officers and for partnering with us to keep Brevard County a safe place to live, work and raise our families!
