BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue paid their respect to honor the fallen firefighters of the New York Fire Department who paid the ultimate price Sept. 11, 2001.

Brevard County Fire Rescue Engine 43 and District 40, climbed 110 flights this am in honor of the fallen FDNY firefighters on September 11.

“On this day in 2001, we lost 2,977 mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors and coworkers. Please take time out of your day to remember those heroes and angels lost that morning on September 11, 2001” said Brevard County Fire Rescue.
