Florida Tech Will Hold Fall Commencement Ceremonies Virtually on Dec. 11

854 students are set to graduate

With the uncertainty of the pandemic ongoing and the health and safety of Florida Tech students and their families paramount, the university has announced its Fall commencement ceremonies will be held virtually.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — With the uncertainty of the pandemic ongoing and the health and safety of Florida Tech students and their families paramount, the university has announced its Fall commencement ceremonies will be held virtually.

The live-streamed event at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 11, follows successful spring and summer virtual commencement programs that have drawn more than 12,000 combined views.

The ceremony will feature remarks from Florida Tech President Dwayne McCay and Bino Campanini, Florida Tech’s senior vice president of student and alumni affairs.

An estimated 854 students are set to graduate.

During the ceremony, the names of all graduates will be presented on-screen, along with any honors and accolades and their photos, if they have been provided. The event will close with the singing of Florida Tech’s alma mater.

The event will be streamed live online via the university’s YouTube channel and will be available for download and viewing on-demand afterward.
