ORLANDO, FLORIDA – The Amway Coaches Poll came out with its first update since the 2020 season began and UCF moved up from 21st to 13th, released Sunday afternoon.

The Knights also moved up to 14th in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll.

Both polls removed teams currently not scheduled to play games this fall, which includes programs in the Big Ten, the PAC 12, the MAC and the Mountain West.

UCF is one of three American Athletic Conference teams in both polls, as Cincinnati and Memphis also find themselves in the Top 25 early in the 2020 season.

Clemson topped both polls with Alabama, Oklahoma and Georgia rounding out the top four.

UCF has now been ranked in the Top 25 a total of 49 times and will take its 35-4 record as a ranked team to Atlanta this weekend, taking on Georgia Tech, which was receiving votes in both polls after defeating Florida State on Saturday.
