BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – National Hurricane Center is continuing to monitor a tropical wave and a low pressure system that are expected to merge together early next week which is likely to become a tropical depression.

Should this system become a named storm, it would be called ‘Paulette’.

Experts are projecting the tropical wave to move west and be conducive for further development.

This system has a 80-percent chance of forming into a Tropical Disturbance in five days.
