2020 ELECTION: Registered Democrats Hold Slight Lead in Early Mail-In Voting For Brevard County

Election Day is nearly two weeks away and early mail-in voting shows democrats hold a slight lead in turnout in Brevard County.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Election Day is nearly two weeks away and early mail-in voting shows democrats hold a slight lead over republican in turnout in Brevard County.

As a reminder, Mail Ballot turnout figures only include returned and accepted mail ballots.

As of Sunday afternoon, 74,306 mail-in votes have been received in Brevard County.

Out of the 74,306 votes cast so far, the Supervisor of Elections website shows 33,661 votes cast thus far are from registered democrat voters.

For the Republicans, results so far shows 25,829 votes are from registered republican voters.

For voters who identify with no party, results shows 13,714 votes are from non-party affiliates.

According to public records, there are 452,160 registered voters in Brevard County.

So far, voter turnout in early mail-in voting is over 16-percent.

Early Voting in-person for the 2020 General Election will be available Monday, October 19, 2020 – Saturday, October 31, 2020.

Early Voting sites will be open:
– Weekdays – 8:00 a.m – 6:00 p.m.
– Saturday – Sunday – 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 pm.

Election Day is November 3.
