(Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission) – How do we keep increasing access to fishing opportunities? We make it a top priority!

FWC staff members look for areas that could benefit from improved access and new or restored facilities such as piers, hand launches, bank fishing spots, tournament facilities and boat ramps.

For instance, Headwater Boat Ramp at Fellsmere Water Management Area is the newest project to open.

The ramp provides a place for anglers to place their boat in the water as well as 36 parking spaces, overflow parking, a paved lot and restrooms.
