BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA  – For the 17th consecutive year, Ron Jon Surf Shop Cocoa Beach will donate a percentage of its Saturday, October 10 sales to the United Way of Brevard County.

“On October 10 Ron Jon will donate a percentage of sales of the Cocoa Beach store to the United Way of Brevard County,” said Debbie Harvey, Ron Jon Surf Shop President, and COO.

“Ron Jon Surf Shop as well as our employees are proud supporters of the United Way which provides needed services in our community. With this year’s challenges, our neighbors in our community need our help more than ever and we invite you to come out and shop to support this worthwhile cause.”

Since first participating in the United Way of Brevard County’s “Make a Difference Day” in 1998, Ron Jon Surf Shop has raised nearly $927,127 from employee contributions and sales days to benefit the charity.

This year, Ron Jon Surf Shop anticipates that more than 75 percent of its staff will support its annual United Way campaign.

“It is our sincere hope that our community will support Ron Jon’s today. Shopping local takes on a whole new meaning when it also helps support our local United Way.
