UPDATE: One Person Shot in Titusville After Shooting Causes Victim to Crash into Truck

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – A man in Titusville was shot on Tuesday which caused him to crash into a commercial truck in the area of Singleton Ave. and Iris St. on Tuesday.

Police first received a report around 11:15 a.m. about a call of shots fired in the area of Singleton Avenue and Garden Street.

Minutes later, officers were then notified of a traffic crash involving multiple vehicles at that same intersection.

The preliminary investigation revealed the victim was traveling south on Singleton Avenue in a black 2016 Kia Soul, when occupants in a dark grey sedan with dark tinted windows pulled along side the victim and began shooting bullets into his vehicle.

The victim lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the side of a commercial truck in the intersection.

The suspect vehicle fled the scene immediately after the incident as witnesses describe shooter as a black male.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The suspects are still at large.

he preliminary evidence indicates the victim was specifically targeted by the suspects and it was not a random act of violence.
