BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – SpaceX launch team is planning a Falcon 9 rocket launch (SXM 7) from Cape Canaveral no earlier than Sunday, according to SpaceX.

The launch was originally scrubbed on Friday.

A launch window has not yet been set by SpaceX. Stay tuned to Space Coast Daily for updates.

The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will launch the SXM 7 satellite for SiriusXM and will replace the XM 3 satellite in SiriusXM’s fleet providing satellite radio programming to consumers across North America.

Following first stage separation, SpaceX will attempt to recover the booster engine on drone ship ‘Of Course, I Still Love You’.
