Brevard Zoo Invites Runners, Walkers of All Skill Levels to ‘Rafiki Run 3K’ Saturday Feb.13

Runners and walkers of all skill levels are invited to race or stroll through Brevard Zoo during the Rafiki Run 3k on Saturday, February 13 at 7 a.m. A virtual option is also available.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Runners and walkers of all skill levels are invited to race or stroll through Brevard Zoo during the Rafiki Run 3K on Saturday, February 13 at 7 a.m. A virtual option is also available.

Organized by the Running Zone Foundation, this event will mark the 15th annual race held at the Zoo. These races have generated a total of $107,000 for the Zoo’s animal wellness and conservation programs.

Complimentary masks will be available at the race.

All participants are required to wear a mask when social distancing is difficult, and spectators are strongly encouraged to wear masks. Race start times will be staggered to encourage social distancing.

All participants receive a finisher medal, 50% off Zoo admission on the day of the event (race number required), and the chance to win a $500 Disney gift card.

A catered breakfast will be provided, and beer will be offered to participants ages 21 and up.
