Health First Fight Child Hunger 5K Set Jan. 16, Will Benefit The Children’s Hunger Project

The Children’s Hunger Project and The Sharing Center of Central Brevard will host its annual “Health First Fight Child Hunger 5K” on Saturday, January 16. The run/walk will begin at 8 a.m. at Viera High School, located at 6103 Stadium Parkway.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Children’s Hunger Project and The Sharing Center of Central Brevard will host its annual “Health First Fight Child Hunger 5K” on Saturday, January 16.

The run/walk will begin at 8 a.m. at Viera High School, located at 6103 Stadium Parkway.

The registration fee is $25 for adults and $15 for youth 12 years and younger. The virtual 5K registration is available for $30.

Help raise awareness of the efforts to fight childhood hunger by The Children’s Hunger Project and the Sharing Center of Central Brevard.

All participants will receive a pancake breakfast after the race.

■ Friday, January 15th — 10 AM – 6:30 PM

Packet Pickup & Registration at Running Zone (3696 N Wickham Rd, Melbourne)

■ Saturday, January 16th — Viera High School (6103 Stadium Pkwy, Melbourne)

6:45 AM – Packet Pickup & Registration Opens

7:45 AM – Late Registration & Packet Pickup Closes

8:00 AM – 5K Run/Walk Start

VIRTUAL 5K

For the Virtual 5K participants, you can run your 5K anywhere and at any time to support the Children’s Hunger Project and Sharing Center of Brevard.

Choose a safe course, socially distance properly as the current regulations dictate, and have some fun.  You will be able to submit your virtual 5K results starting on Saturday, January 16 through Sunday, January 24.
