Weather Conditions 70-Percent Favorable for SpaceX Rocket Launch From Cape Canaveral on Thursday

BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – The latest weather report by the 45th Weather Squadron shows weather conditions for Thursday night’s SpaceX launch is 70-percent favorable.

SpaceX is getting ready to launch a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on Thursday that will launch a Turksat 5A communications satellite for Turksat, which is a Turkish satellite operator.

Launch window is set to open at 8:28 p.m. ET. on Thursday and close at 12:28 a.m. ET on Friday.

The satellite will provide Ku-band television broadcast services over Turkey, the Middle East, Europe and Africa.
