BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College baseball team lost to Florida Southwestern on the road Saturday afternoon.

The Titans lost 10-2 in the first-ever home-and-home series between the two clubs.

Eastern Florida State College got on the board first as AJ Mathis scored on a groundout in the top of the first inning.

Florida Southwestern (13-6) would tie the game in the bottom of the first inning and then take the lead in the bottom of the fourth. The Bucs, who received votes in the latest NJCAA Division I poll, would score five runs in the fifth to pull away.

Eastern Florida State College (6-9) will travel to the State College of Florida Manatee Monday for a 5 p.m. game before returning to Bruce Bochy Field Wednesday against SCF-Manatee for a 5 p.m. first pitch.
