BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Space Coast Daily’s TGIF Show is back for another week, the only show on the Space Coast that highlights upcoming events and entertainment for the weekend and upcoming week.

If you love wood-fired barbecue, Crydermans Barbecue in Cocoa is a purveyor of fine American BBQ. After signing an exclusive arrangement with Cheshire Heritage Farms from North Carolina, Crydermans will be cooking with the world-class pork, along with their all homemade recipes.

There is a reason Cryderman’s Barbecue is ranked by Tripadvisor in the top 10 among the more than 100 eateries in the Space Coast area, and it has to do with salt, pepper, good-quality meats, fire and a lot of patience in the cooking process

Founded in 2017, Crydermans Barbecue is a great destination for barbecue that’s both high in quality and rooted in tradition using simple ingredients that produce BIG flavor.

It has been a whirlwind of barbecue for owners Amy and Chad Cryderman, who had done extensive research into the subtle points of the cuisine (translation: eaten a lot of different barbecues across the country) before opening their barbecue joint in 2017 on the site of a former gas station in Cocoa Village.

Williams and Dolly Parton performed “There Was Jesus” at the 53rd Annual CMA Awards. Since their epic performance, the song has gained extraordinary momentum and has become Williams’ most consumed song to date along with the title track from his 2019 album, Rescue Story.

When I first heard ‘There Was Jesus,’ it was one of the best songs I’d ever heard,” Parton shares about being featured on the song.

She continues, “I loved Zach’s voice, and at that time I wanted to do something more uplifting. I felt like it was a Godsend, so I thought yes, this is my record and I’m going to sing with him on it! I’m really proud of how it turned out. I think people are going to get a blessing out of it. I know I have.”

Regarding Williams’ experience working with Dolly Parton, from recording the song to performing it live on the CMA Awards to ultimately filming the music video, he says, “Dolly has been a champion since day one of this song. I never thought in a million years this would happen, and the entire experience working with her has truly been an honor and a privilege. I cannot wait to share the song and video with all of you.”

Williams’ powerful and poignant journey spans how a boy with a storybook childhood filled with wonderfully nurturing parents, a strong and supportive grounding in the church, and a warm and loving local community was seduced away by the illusion of rock stardom, and the drug and alcohol excesses that can so often accompany that lifestyle.

Zach William’s music pulls from the hard luck truths of outlaw country, the dirt-road grit of southern rock, the contemporary roots music of alt-country artists, and a firm grounding in classic and contemporary Christian artists that stretches back to his dad’s old Petra records. His songs enlighten and uplift, revealing powerful transformative moments and stirring affirmations to stay on God’s path.
