Authorities Searching for Suspect in Hit-and-Run Crash Involving Motorcycle on I-95 Near Rockledge

BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a hit-and-run crash involving a motorcycle that happened early Saturday morning on I-95 near mile marker 195 in Rockledge.

State troopers say the crash happened around 4:50 a.m. when a vehicle sideswiped the right side of a motorcycle, causing the motorcyclist to crash and ejecting the rider from the bike.

The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and has been identified as a 42-year-old man from Palm Bay.

The motorcyclist describes the vehicle as a small, white SUV and fled southbound on I-95.

Authorities say the vehicle will have noticeable damage on the left side of the car and will be missing a side mirror.
