Cocoa Woman Struck, Killed After Attempting to Walk Across Wickham Road Thursday Night

A 57-year-old Cocoa woman has died after she was struck by car, while attempting to cross North Wickham Road Thursday night.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – A 57-year-old Cocoa woman has died after she was struck by car, while attempting to cross North Wickham Road Thursday night.

The investigation shows that Kimberly Ellen Duncan had sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash and later died.

According to police, the investigation reveals a vehicle was traveling southbound on North Wickham Road in the inside travel lane around 7:10 p.m. when the pedestrian stepped into the path of the vehicle.

Duncan was transported to Holmes Regional Medical Center where she later died, according to police.

The driver of the vehicle is identified as 79-year-old Timothy Tucker from Melbourne.

Police say Duncan, the pedestrian, was attempting to cross North Wickham Road near the 2900 block, heading east to west.
