(24/7 Sports) – Arkansas has some explosive returning players at running back, but entering the 2021 spring they were lacking a back with a good combination of size and speed.

The decision was made to move true freshman Raheim Sanders from wide receiver to RB, where the 6-2, 220-pounder has a better chance of getting on the field early.

The early reviews have also been positive for Sanders individually, who also goes by “Rocket Sanders.”

He was the No. 164 overall recruit in the nation, the No. 7 athlete and the No. 19 prospect in the state of Florida in the Class of 2021, according to 247Sports”I like Sanders a lot,” Arkansas coach Sam Pittman said.

“Rocket Sanders, he’s never carried the ball and he’s never gotten hit here yet, so we’ve got to find that out there, and we will pretty fast. I like Sanders back there because he’s a big back that’s a very physical guy.”
