BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Friday, March 5 to mark the completion of improvements to Brevard County Veterans Park, which is part of the Brevard Veterans Memorial Center.

Since 1978, the Brevard Veterans Memorial Center and Council have taken on many missions to support over 70,000  Brevard Veterans and their families as well as to help all citizens and visitors learn firsthand about what U.S. veterans have contributed to making our country great.

With an amazing array of military artifacts ranging from the Revolutionary War to our current conflicts in the Middle East, we strive to educate the public on our military’s efforts both past and present in the facility’s free museum, library, plaza, and park.

This public event included a showcase of the newly added park improvements and included all those involved in the development of the park.
