BREVARD COUNTRY, FLORIDA – Friday, April 23 was a beautiful day for a golf tournament. It was also a beautiful day for a number of local charities that were the recipients of the more than $90,000 that was raised during the 31st Annual Erdman Automotive Golf Invitational.

The tournament had a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start at the Suntree Country Club in Melbourne as 144 golfers were treated to a pre-game tournament meal and 18 holes of golf on one of the finest courses in the area.

Tourney host and long-time philanthropist Mike Erdman said there are about 10 designated non-profits that will receive 100 percent of the proceeds from the tournament.

Tournament sponsors were, once again, incredibly supportive of the event, allowing the beneficiary, the Shema Ministry, to distribute the funds.

With COVID-19 preempting last year’s tournament, there was an extra added bit of excitement for this year’s tournament. Moments before the start, Erdman was beaming about how things have fallen into place.

“God has blessed us with great weather, and God has blessed us with a lot of great people in the community,” said Erdman.
