BCSO Resource Deputy Greg Darville Delivers Recruiting Presentation at Space Coast Jr./Sr. High School

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Sheriff School Resource Deputy Greg Darville delivered a recruiting presentation at Space Coast Jr./Sr. High School.
Earlier this week, members of our Career Development and Human Resource Units conducted a presentation at Space Coast Jr./Sr. High School is designed to recruit graduating seniors into the field of Law Enforcement.
The program goes into great detail about the requirements of our profession and also the various steps involved in becoming a member of our agency.
From discussions about the qualifications of the job to benefits, to how our agency encourages members to seek college degrees through a reimbursement initiative, the presentation is focused on recruiting young members of our own community to join our agency and profession.
I would like to give a huge thank you to the Principal and Faculty at Space Coast Jr./Sr. High School for allowing us to present to their students, and also School Resource Deputy Greg Darville for setting up the presentation and for all he does every day to impact and protect students at the school.
Of course, a big thank you to Deputy Miguel Melendez, Deputy Nicole Contos, and Vanessa Santiago for their efforts in making the presentation such a success.
