Florida Tech Panther Student-Athletes Honored for Academic Success in the University’s Honors Convocation

29 Florida Tech Panthers receive Outstanding Student of the Year awards

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florida Tech Athletics had another exceptional year in the classroom in 2020-21 with numerous student-athletes earning recognition in the university’s Honors Convocation.

A total of 29 current and former student-athletes received Outstanding Student of the Year awards and 15 Panthers were recipients of Distinguished Student Scholar awards from Florida Tech.

The Outstanding Student of the Year honorees is selected by each academic unit at Florida Tech and designated as “well-rounded, active student-scholars who have made contributions to the academic program, university, and community.”

The Distinguish Student Scholar award is given annually to undergraduate students who have completed more than 55 credit hours at Florida Tech with cumulative GPAs of 3.8 or higher.
