Brevard Lawride Supports The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial

WATCH: The 2021 Brevard Lawride is being held Saturday at the American Police Hall of Fame & Museum in conjunction with the start of 2021 Police Week. The Friday Night Locker Room’s Steve Wilson and Orville Susong are on hand to cover the event and conduct an exclusive interview with Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The 2021 Brevard Lawride is being held Saturday at the American Police Hall of Fame & Museum in conjunction with the start of 2021 Police Week.

The mission of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund is to generate increased public support for the law enforcement profession by permanently recording and appropriately commemorating the service and sacrifice of law enforcement officers; and to provide information that will help promote law enforcement safety.

The American Police Hall of Fame & Museum is a non-profit organization. They have a memorial to all recorded Law Enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.

A museum that displays Law Enforcement memorabilia from many eras of Law Enforcement. The firearms range offers training to both Law Enforcement and citizens. Programs that support the families of fallen Law Enforcement Officer and programs for their children, and more.

The 2021 Brevard Lawride is being held Saturday at the American Police Hall of Fame & Museum in conjunction with the start of 2021 Police Week. Brevard Lawride, Inc. raises funds by hosting this annual motorcycle ride escorted by local Law Enforcement agencies and through the sale of t-shirts, hats, coins, key chains and decals.

All proceeds are used in support of Law Enforcement Charities, Officers and their families.

Seventeen Law Enforcement Officers have been killed in the line of duty in Brevard County and the organization works hard to honor their memory, sacrifice and service to our community.
