United Launch Alliance is scheduled to launch an Atlas V rocket on Tuesday from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – United Launch Alliance successfully launched an Atlas V rocket on Tuesday from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

The rocket lifted off at 1:37 p.m. ET

A United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V 421 rocket will launch the fifth Space Based Infrared System Geosynchronous Earth Orbit (SBIRS GEO Flight 5) missile detection and early warning satellite for the U.S. Space Force Space and Missile Systems Center.

Liftoff will occur from Space Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida.

Launch Notes:  This will be 144th mission for United Launch Alliance. It is the 87th Atlas V launch and the 8th in the 421 configuration. Atlas V successfully launched the first four SBIRS GEO satellites between 2011 and 2018.
