Brevard County Fire Rescue Wildland Mitigation Captain Ryan Sumlin Retires After 18 Years of Service

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue congratulates and wishes a happy and healthy retirement to Captain Ryan “Bubba” Sumlin.
Ryan dedicated 18 years to serving and protecting the citizens of Brevard County as BCFR’s Wildland Mitigation Captain.
As the Wildland Mitigation Captain, Ryan responded to hundreds of wildfires; some small and some large scale events.
He also assisted other agencies with prescribed burns and acted as our agency liaison with our state and federal partners.
Brevard County Fire Rescue wishes him the best of luck in his future endeavors.
