Palm Bay Police Department Recognize Robb, Andrea Adams as June’s VCOP Spotlight

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – As a maintenance electrician in industrial manufacturing, Robb says, “I basically fix stuff people didn’t know was broken in ways that they can’t figure out how I did it.” Meanwhile, Andrea has worked in the medical field in various positions that involve overseeing programming and coordinating staff.
Despite their busy work lives, when they relocated here from Long Island, New York in 2006, they looked for a volunteer opportunity that they both shared a passion for – supporting law enforcement.
Since joining the VCOP ranks in August 2020 they’ve become valuable members of the organization. Robb is currently training to assist with non-injury accidents. Andrea helps out at the front desk, and they both go out on patrol.
They are the parents of 4 children and 3 grandchildren and spending time with their family often includes Andrea’s wonderful home-cooked Sunday dinners.
You can also find them at live concerts, yard sales, dog parks, and helping folks with home repair projects.
Their passion to serve as VCOPs is evident when they say they feel good knowing that they’ve done something that made someone else’s day better and they enjoy assisting people whenever possible to free up the police to do more important tasks.
