BREVARD COUNTY • SUNTREE, FLORIDA – The Space Coast Symphony Orchestra will launch its 13th performing season with The Wonderful World of Broadway at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 19 at the Scott Center for the Performing Arts in north Melbourne, located at 5625 Holy Trinity Drive.

The audience will experience twice the enchantment in a concert of favorites from both Broadway and Walt Disney.

Selections from the great musicals of Rodgers and Hammerstein, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Marvin Hamlisch include Grease, Chicago, Oklahoma, The Entertainer and Jesus Christ Superstar.

Not to be outdone, the stories and characters of Walt Disney will come to life in amazing orchestral color, with songs from the Disney films Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Mulan, The Lion King, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

$30 advance tickets for adults are available through the orchestra website at SpaceCoastSymphony.org or at Marine Bank & Trust in Suntree. Tickets at the door are $35.

The Wonderful World of Broadway is free for those aged 18 and under or with a student ID.

Indoor performances by the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra are pursuant to the Covid-19 protocols of individual venues.

Concertgoers aged 18 and under or with a college ID are admitted free to every SCSO concert.
