BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – MSD Port Canaveral completed the Coast Guard’s first Certificate of Compliance (COC) examination on a cruise ship in March of 2020.

The successful operation onboard the Disney Dream ensured the vessel was in compliance with international and domestic requirements for safety and security and allows the vessel to conduct its simulated voyage to meet new CDC requirements.

MSD Port Canaveral and other units from around the U.S. Coast Guard are set to complete over 20 COC examinations this summer.

The Disney Dream currently sails three-day, four-day, and occasional five-day cruises to the Bahamas. She entered service in 2011 and is homeported at Port Canaveral.
