WATCH: Are you considering virtual education for your student? Brevard Public Schools has an option for you. Meet BPS Principal of Brevard Virtual School, Heather Price who explains how your student may receive a high-quality education in a flexible environment.

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Space Coast Daily sat down with Brevard Virtual School Principal Heather Price to discuss how virtual school allows for students and parents to have flexibility in their education.

The Brevard Virtual School, which serves students K-12, has been around for several years and wasn’t a reaction to COVID.

Brevard Virtual School also partners with parents who have opted for Home Education and its flexibility allows for Home Education students to get the support of the district as they move through their educational career.

Parental involvement is key to student success and students have numerous choices for extracurricular activities, including playing sports.

There are some in-person activities, which help create a sense of community for the school and the students and registration is open now through mid-July.
