BREVARD COUNTY • INDIALANTIC, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue’s Lieutenant Aldo Nunez was on his way home from working at Station 63 when he noticed a fire on Niemira Avenue in Indialantic.

“He rushed to the patio with an extinguisher and knocked down the fire effectively saving not only the unit, but the entire row of townhomes,” said Brevard County Fire officials on social media.

Brevard County Fire Rescue crews, who were responding to a reported propane tank fire on a patio, arrived to check for extension and put out remaining hot spots.

“Lieutenant Nunez was at the right place at the right time,” said Brevard County Fire officials.
