Cocoa Beach Karate to Host Free Assault Prevention, Self-Defense Seminar

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – Cocoa Beach Karate is holding a free assault prevention and self-defense seminar for local kids and adults.

The seminar is free for locals. RSVP is required ahead of time due to space limitations.

“ We teach valuable strategies for assault prevention and avoidance of conflict or dangerous situations as well as basic self-defense techniques,” said Sensei Des Chaskelson, chief instructor at Cocoa Beach Karate.

Chaskelson started his karate training in NYC in 1987 and opened the Cocoa Beach Dojo when he moved down here in 2002. Cocoa Beach Karate has been conducting free seminars and fundraising events for charities since 2002.

“Karate is all about helping others,” says Chaskelson. We here at Cocoa Beach Karate are committed to providing community service and giving back to others as part of our training. We look forward to another successful event.”
