Cocoa Police Department encourages residents to report suspicious activity

ABOVE MAP: During the week of June 27 through July 4, 2021, the Cocoa Police Department responded to 11 reported burglaries which included 2 residential burglaries, one commercial/business burglary, and eight vehicle burglaries.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – During the week of June 27 through July 4, 2021, the Cocoa Police Department responded to 11 reported burglaries which included 2 residential burglaries, one commercial/business burglary, and eight vehicle burglaries.

In one reported vehicle burglary, the victim had a firearm taken. Please remember to secure your vehicles and remove all valuables, especially firearms.

Always close and secure your garage doors and the windows and sliding doors in your home. If you own a business, high-resolution video surveillance and alarm system are recommended covering all points of entry.
