BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – I had a great time earlier today working with our Fugitive Unit to take four fugitives off our streets and get them locked behind bars where they can’t commit anymore crimes.

We traveled all over the county today with arrests from Titusville to Melbourne with one of the arrests, Greg Smith even being a “Wheel of Fugitive” participant.

Smith admitted to knowing he was on the wheel and of course like we have heard so many times before, was going later today to turn himself in.

Thanks to our Fugitive Unit he didn’t have to wait any longer and we even gave him a free ride to jail.

Folks here is a quick bulletin for you…if you are going to break the law I highly recommend not doing it in our county, if you are a fugitive in Brevard County go turn yourself in before we come snatch you off the street and stuff you in the back of a patrol car, and lastly, if you see your shining little face on the “Wheel of Fugitive” go pack your toothbrush and wait on the porch for our Fugitive Unit, as they are just minutes or hours away from kicking your front door in and taking you to jail.

Another great day of work by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit who do an amazing job at taking criminals off our streets!
