BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is seeking suspect Kyle Joseph Cookshott in the latest edition of “Fishing for Fugitives,” as Sheriff Wayne Ivey comes to you from Ballard Park in Melbourne.
In this episode, Sheriff Ivey says Cookshott is wanted for:
■ Violation of Probation Reference to Petit Theft with 2 or more prior theft convictions.
Sheriff Ivey says Cookshott is known to be in the “waters of the Melbourne area” and was last “hooked” on February 11, 2021.
Cookshott has no bond.
“If you’re the ‘Catch of the Day,’ you know what to do, turn yourself in and do the right thing – don’t make our Fugitive Unit come to get you. Because if you don’t turn yourself in, I promise you, they aren’t far from your house,” said Sheriff Ivey.
“Let’s make the Space Coast a safer place to live by assisting the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office in the apprehension of wanted fugitives, or in this case, the chance to “Hook ’em and Book ’em.”
