Logan Spratt Awarded UPS 2021 National Merit James E. Casey Merit Scholarship

UPS Foundation has invested more than $2 million in scholarship funding this year

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA  – Titusville United Parcel Service driver Steven Spratt’s son Logan has been awarded the 2021 National Merit James E. Casey Merit Scholarship, which exemplifies students that have the strongest combination of academic skills and achievements, extra-curricular accomplishments and potential for success in rigorous college studies.

The UPS Foundation awards scholarships to the children of UPS associates and eligible dependents in recognition of outstanding academic performance and distinguished achievement in high school.

Logan, who graduated from Titusville High School, will attend the University of Florida and will major in computer science.

“I greatly appreciate this scholarship because it alleviates my financial burden and allows me to focus on my studies,” said Logan, who will receive $2,500 annually as a recipient of this scholarship.

Steven has been a UPS delivery driver in Titusville for 25 years.

The UPS Foundation has invested more than $2 million in scholarship funding this year and its scholarship programs have made a difference in the lives of more than 6,400 UPS families.

Logan’s sister, Lauren, was the recipient of the UPS Theodore and Vivian Johnson Scholarship in 2015.

This scholarship is for children of UPS employees in Florida and eligible dependents who are attending school at an accredited four-year college or university, state or community college or vocational-technical school in Florida.

UPS is the largest courier company in the world by revenue, with annual revenues of around $85 billion in 2020.
