OBITUARY: U.S. Air Force Veteran Col. Bryce Henry Terrell Sr. Passed Away on August 16

Bryce enjoyed technology, finance, a good laugh and was a lifelong Gator fan

Bryce Henry Terrell Sr. passed away on August 16, 2021, at the age of 90 in Melbourne, Florida.

Served two tours in Vietnam where he achieved numerous commendations including the Distinguished Flying Cross.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Bryce Henry Terrell Sr. passed away on August 16, 2021, at the age of 90 in Melbourne, FL.

Bryce was born in Tampa Florida and graduated from Plant High School. He was in the ROTC program at Emory University where he graduated in 1951.

Bryce’s honorable U.S. Air Force career spanned 20 years where he rose to the rank of Colonel and included two tours in Vietnam where he achieved numerous commendations including the Distinguished Flying Cross.

Bryce was a patriot who loved his country. He enjoyed technology, finance, a good laugh and was a lifelong Gator fan. He was a long-term member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church and is survived by his wife of 69 years, Ellen McKibbon Terrell of Griffin GA, sons Bryce Jr. of Toronto Canada, Keith, of Dallas, TX and daughter, Angela Manuel of Black Mountain, NC.

A private ceremony will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 50 W. Strawbridge Ave., Melbourne, Florida 32901.
