BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The Palm Bay Pirates will kick off the Jake Owens era tonight versus Port St. Lucie at Palm Bay Pirates stadium on Space Coast Daily TV.
Head Coach Jake Owens takes over of a historic program yearning a return to be a championship contender again. After serving previous stints at Space Coast High School, and Cocoa High School as an assistant coach, Owens is the right man to return Palm Bay back to competing for district championships and postseason success.
Last year, Palm Bay finished with an abysmal 1-7 overall record and 2-7 overall record in 2019. Those two seasons helped lead to a change at the head coach position.
Friday Night Locker Room’s Steve Wilson and Orville Susong will have the play-by-play call tonight on Space Coast Daily TV.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
