Additional COVID-19 Testing Sites Now Available in West Melbourne, No Appointments Necessary

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Emergency Management, in partnership with the Florida Department of Health-Brevard, CDR Health, the City of West Melbourne, and Brevard County Parks and Recreation.

Two additional free COVID-19 testing sites are now open and will operate Monday-Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Rapid testing and PCR testing for COVID-19 are now available to symptomatic and asymptomatic individuals at these additional locations:

■ Drive-thru testing is available at Kiwanis Island Park, 951 Kiwanis Island Park Rod, Merritt Island. Now open.
■ Walk-up testing is available at West Melbourne Community Park, 3000 Minton Road, West Melbourne. Now open.

Testing is free and no appointments are required. Insurance information will be requested, but there is no out-of-pocket expense.

The two additional sites bring to three the number of COVID-19 testing locations in Brevard County.

Appointment-only testing is also available at no cost at DOH-Brevard, 2555 Judge Fran Jamieson Way in Viera. Testing administered by Nomi Health, Inc. is from 8:15 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday thru Sunday.
